Our banking client is seeking a Senior AWS Resilience Consultant (10+ years of experience) to operationalize AWS Resilience Hub using AWS CDK and cloud resilience engineering practices Join a large-scale resiliency engineering initiative focused on launching a new AWS resilience capability within an enterprise banking environment.

This role leads end-to-end delivery of AWS Resilience Hub solutions across cloud engineering, operational readiness, governance, and enterprise adoption activities.

The position offers direct exposure to emerging AWS resilience technologies and strategic engagement with senior leadership across complex cross-functional programs.

Contract, 8 months Locations: Scarborough, ON - 2 days/week in the office Must Haves 10+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Site Reliability Engineering, Resiliency Engineering, or related technology roles within a large enterprise Deep expertise in AWS services, cloud resilience patterns, and enterprise cloud operating models Strong proficiency in AWS CDK, AWS Cloud

Formation, or other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) delivery approaches Extensive experience in resilience engineering domains, including High Availability, Observability, Disaster Recovery, Testing, and Posture Analysis Demonstrated experience delivering complex, cross-functional cloud engineering initiatives end-to-end Strong understanding of enterprise governance, PDLC frameworks, security/risk processes, and operational readiness Strong product ownership, project management, and process design skills Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders,



interpret technical detail for executives, and convey delivery status clearly Highly organized, self-driven, and capable of operating independently in a fast-paced environment Experience using Jira, Confluence, and engineering workflow tools Hands-on experience with AWS Resilience Hub is a strong asset Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills Nice to Haves AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Skilled AWS Certified Dev

Ops Engineer – Professional Experience in financial services or other regulated environments Experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework, cloud resilience assessments, operational readiness, chaos engineering practices Experience creating executive presentations, process documentation, user guides, and operational support materials Responsibilities Design, build, and operationalize cloud resilience solutions leveraging AWS Resilience Hub and AWS services Lead end-to-end delivery across solution design, development, testing, implementation, production readiness, and stakeholder adoption Deploy services using AWS CDK to provision components, apply policies, and enforce least-privilege IAM Define operating models, processes, standards, and governance supporting enterprise adoption of AWS Resilience Hub Own PDLC governance activities including design reviews, risk assessments, security assessments, and Go-Live approvals Manage delivery planning, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and stakeholder communications Conduct Proof-of-Concept activities, analyze results, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders
