POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for Process Engineers at the intermediate level motivated to deliver on mandates for its clients in the cosmetics sector. The mandate is to design and optimize cosmetic manufacturing and filling processes and to carry out scale-up, investigate deviations and document processes in compliance with ISO 22716.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and optimize cosmetic manufacturing and filling processes.
Carry out the scale-up of formulations (emulsions, powders, liquids).
Analyze process performance and reduce losses and rejects.
Specify mixing, homogenization and packaging equipment.
Investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
Draft manufacturing instructions and technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with cosmetic Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) (ISO 22716).

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, cosmetics, food, process), or any other related discipline.
Five (05) to ten (10) years of industry experience.
Three (03) to seven (07) years of experience as a Process Engineer.
Sector standards: ISO 22716, Cosmetic Regulations (Health Canada), FDA MoCRA, ISO 9001.
Tools and systems: MS Office suite,



AutoCAD, Aspen Plus, SAP, MS Project.
Hold one of the following certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt.
The following are considered assets: membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), PMP, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing.
Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
Language: French and English
