POSITION DESCRIPTION

FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for specialists in quality assurance at the intermediate level motivated to deliver on mandates for its clients in the agri-food sector. The mandate is to maintain the food safety and quality system in accordance with HACCP, the PCP and GFSI standards and to manage audits, non-conformances, complaints and product recalls, oversee environmental monitoring and support CFIA inspections.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain the HACCP plan and the preventive control plan (PCP).
Manage GFSI certification programs (SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000).
Conduct internal and supplier audits and track CAPAs.
Manage non-conformances, complaints, product recalls and traceability.
Oversee environmental monitoring and microbiological testing.
Support CFIA inspections and certification audits.
Train staff in Positive Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and hygiene practices.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Bachelor's or master's degree in science (food technology, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, etc.), or any other related discipline.
Five (05) to ten (10) years of industry experience.
Three (03) to seven (07) years of experience as a Specialist in Quality Assurance.
Sector standards: HACCP, SFCR (CFIA), SQF, BRCGS,



FSSC 22000, ISO 22000.
Tools and systems: MS Office suite, TrackWise, Veeva Vault, SAP QM, Power BI.
Hold one of the following certifications: ASQ CQA, ASQ CQE, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.
The following are considered assets: ASQ CMQ/OE, Six Sigma Green Belt, ISO Lead Auditor.
Experience in Canadian public or private organizations.
Language: French and English
