We are building a pool of qualified candidates who are interested in casual, on-call opportunities with the Central Monitoring Unit, based in Edmonton.





Those in the wage pool will be contacted on an as-needed basis.

Please note: This is a wage (casual/on-call) position, meaning hours are scheduled based on operational needs and are not guaranteed.

The CMU operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and shifts may include days, afternoons, overnights, weekends, and holidays. CMU Probation Officers operate in a fast-paced, technology-driven setting focused on oversight and enforcement of electronic monitoring programs.

Your responsibilities include: Monitoring individuals under electronic supervision.

Responding to alerts and potential violations in real time.

Coordinating with law enforcement, field offices, and community partners.

Documenting incidents and maintaining detailed case records Ensuring compliance with court-ordered conditions and program standards.

Participating in shift work including evenings, weekends and holidays.
