Position Summary

Prepare and cook food in a high quality,consistent and timely manner while maintaining a clean and secure environment.

This position is through Mid-October with the potential for employment during the winter season.

Specific Accountabilities
Setting up and stockingstations with all necessary supplies
Prepare and cook assigneddishes based on event sheet requirements
Ensure that food comes out in atimely manner
Proper usage of kitchenappliances and equipment
Assist with dishwashing andmaintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas and floors
Other tasks includes sweepingand mopping floors, changing garbage bags, putting away cookware and servingware, etc.
Stock and maintain inventory asrequired. Ensure the First In First Out procedure is followed
Demonstrate a clean, positiveand professional presence with team members and assist guests in a courteousand helpful manner
Adhere to all health and safetyregulations, protocols and to the Food Services Code of Conduct
Perform other responsibilitieswhen required as directed by the Food Services Manager, Assistant Managerand/or Supervisor

Working Conditions
Evening, weekend, late-nightand holiday shift work
Ability to work in standingpositions for long periods of time
May lift, carry, push or pullitems weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
Handle the use of kitchen appliancesand equipment

Qualifications & EducationalRequirements

Most training is completed on the jobhowever; most should possess an interest in the food and beverage service
Accuracy and speed in executingassigned tasks
Some experience in the Food& Beverage industry
General understanding ofvarious cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
No educational backgroundrequired
