We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes, fabrication techniques and workplace safety standards, along with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced workplace.
As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components according to specifications and/or drawings, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship.
Duties:
Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as FCAW, MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
Measure and mark materials using basic math skills and calipers to ensure accuracy.
Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to build complex structures including cranes and other machinery.
Maintain a clean and safe work workplace by adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements:
5+ years of welding experience.
Journeyman Welding certificate preferred
Familiarity with various welding techniques and equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is essential.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and plasma cutting equipment is advantageous.
Basic math skills are required for accurate measurements and calculations.
