Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (5+ years of experience) to build cloud-native applications using Java, Kotlin, React, AWS, and PostgreSQL Join a cross-functional team delivering front-end and backend solutions for document services applications within the financial services industry.

This role focuses on developing cloud-native and on-prem applications using React, Java, Kotlin, Spring, NodeJS, Hibernate, AWS, and PostgreSQL in an Agile setting.

The position offers hands-on involvement across development, testing, deployment, and AWS resource management.

Candidates will contribute to application evolution and delivery across a hybrid Toronto-based team.

Contract, Toronto, Hybrid, Working Hours: EST Must Haves 5+ years in Java , Kotlin , Spring , Hibernate , and NodeJS development 5+ years building web applications with React and Redux 3+ years deploying services on AWS including S3 , ECS , Fargate , API Gateway , and IAM PostgreSQL , SQL , PL/SQL ,



MongoDB and relational database development Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent Nice to Have Python Docker NoSQL databases, ideally Elastic Search Working knowledge of Kotlin Experience working on Agile teams Responsibilities Participate in Sprint Planning, Sprint Execution, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective activities Deliver front-end and backend modules for the Document Services Team Develop front-end and backend code using React, Java, Kotlin, Spring, NodeJS, and Hibernate Manage AWS resources in a safe and cost-effective manner Perform code reviews to ensure quality of team deliverables Design and implement unit, integration, system, performance, and load testing Build cloud-native and on-prem applications for the financial services industry
