Title: truck driver Job Types Regular job Terms of Employment: Full Time, Permanent Salary: $30.00 to 38.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 to 60 hours per week Anticipated Start Date (at the latest in 3 months): As soon as possible Location: 7401- 33 St Leduc, AB T9E 1J8 (3 vacancies) Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience 2 years to less than 3 years Responsibilities Tasks Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques Mountain driving expertise Load and unload goods Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Forklift Certification: Must hold a valid forklift operator certification.

Crane Certification: Must hold a valid crane operator certification.

MELT Training: Must have successfully completed the Mandatory Entry-Level Training (MELT) program. Driver's Abstract: Must have a clean driver's abstract that meets the requirements and is approved by our insurance provider.





Daily Deliveries: Must be comfortable completing approximately 15 20 stops per day.

Outdoor Working Conditions: Must be willing and able to work outdoors in cold weather conditions.

Manual Labour: Must be physically capable of manually lifting, handling, and loading lumber from job sites.
