Senior IT Project Manager to lead large and complex Infrastructure projects using Waterfall and Agile delivery for our insurance client - Duration: 12 Months Location: Toronto or Winnipeg (3x/week Hybrid) Summary Our insurance client is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead large, high-risk infrastructure initiatives with significant business impact.

Reporting to the Manager, Project Delivery, this role will manage scope, cost, schedule, resources and risk while coordinating business and technology stakeholders.

Projects may involve changes to business processes, systems or products and require approaches adapted to complex delivery environments.

Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of infrastructure projects aligned with business and technology goals, established project standards and controls.

Define project scope, intended outcomes, delivery plans, schedules, budgets, resource requirements and risks.

Manage senior stakeholder relationships and partner in the development of strategic and operational plans.

Communicate project outcomes and expected advantages, keeping delivery decisions focused on business value.

Coordinate resources across multiple projects and resolve scope, cost, schedule, resource, quality and risk issues within shared governance.





Lead solution implementation involving changes to processes, systems or products, adapting delivery approaches where required.

Build an effective delivery network across project managers and other leaders, providing feedback on performance, development and resource assignments.

Must Haves 5–10 years of experience managing large infrastructure-related projects.

Experience applying and adapting Waterfall, Hybrid and Agile frameworks to high-complexity projects.

Experience managing business and technical executive stakeholders across diverse groups with converging interests, including leading and influencing without direct authority.

Strong business, technical and financial acumen , with the ability to apply it to project decisions and business priorities.

Experience managing project scope, cost, schedule, resources, quality and risk in a complex environment.

Demonstrated understanding of and adherence to project controls, audit practices and compliance standards .

University or college education in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice to Haves Competency with Clarity .

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
