Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Production Support Analyst to join a Global Derivatives technology team supporting a cross-asset derivatives trading platform.

This individual will provide hands-on production and trading desk support, investigating issues related to trade booking, P&L;, risk reporting, batch processing, and other day-to-day operational activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with technical leads and business users to troubleshoot issues through resolution while contributing to automation, monitoring, and alerting improvements.

This is an ideal opportunity for a junior technical professional with strong SQL and Python skills who is proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable taking ownership of production issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS:
• Provide day-to-day production and application support to trading desk users, including acknowledging, investigating, and resolving support requests.
• Troubleshoot issues involving trade booking, P&L;, risk reporting, and other trading platform processes.
• Monitor and support batch and overnight processes associated with risk, valuation, and reporting activities.
• Partner with technical leads and other team members to identify root causes and drive issues through resolution.
• Identify repetitive manual processes and contribute to automation, monitoring improvements, and implementation of alerts.
• Support releases and other operational activities as required, including occasional weekend support.

Skills and Requirements
• 1–3 years of experience in production support, application support, technical support, trade support, or a comparable technical environment.
• Working knowledge of SQL, with the ability to use it to investigate and troubleshoot application or data issues.




• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues methodically and follow problems through to resolution.
• Strong ownership mentality with a proactive, curious, and hands-on approach to learning new systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with technical teams and business users.
• Ability to manage multiple support requests and priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Working knowledge of Python, with the ability to support scripting, automation, or operational improvements.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as ITRS.
• Previous production or trade desk support experience within banking, capital markets, or financial services.
• Exposure to derivatives, trade lifecycle processes, market or credit risk, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience supporting batch processes and Windows-based application environments.
