Job SummaryThe Pharmacy Coordinator plays a pivotal role by scheduling deliveries and processing prescription medications in collaboration with pharmacists to ensure accurate dispensing of medications to patients.ResponsibilitiesProvide exemplary customer service via phone and email, meeting McKesson Canada standards.Bill prescriptions through pharmacy software, ensuring all required documentation is adequate and appropriate, including accounts receivables, dosage and dosing intervals, third‑party billing restrictions, scheduled appointment dates, clinic locations, copayment management, coordination of benefits, and assignment of benefits.Create patient files in pharmacy software.Manage site calendars, appointment changes, dispensing, and shipping schedules.Accurately dispense medications to ensure arrival at the correct destination on time.Conduct patient follow‑up calls for outstanding accounts, referring medical questions to a pharmacist.Adhere to all relevant guidelines, including Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements.Manage inventory and reconciliation.Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.Develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, reimbursement coordinators, infusion coordinators, provincial ministries of health, and private payers.Enter accurate data into various systems.Act as liaison between insurance plans and physicians,
