We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Wireless Sales Associate to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is essential in delivering exceptional service to customers while promoting the latest wireless products and services. As a Wireless Sales Associate, you will play a key role in driving sales, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting store merchandising efforts.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their wireless needs through active listening and consultation
- Demonstrate product features and benefits clearly, providing engaging and informative product demos
- Assist customers with selecting suitable devices, plans, home security, home internet and accessories based on their preferences
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize customer value while maintaining integrity
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and receipt issuance
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that highlight current promotions and featured products
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Educate customers on technical aspects of devices, plans, and troubleshooting procedures
- Support store cleanliness, inventory management, and stock replenishment activities
- Develop strong product knowledge to stay current with new offerings and industry trends
Requirements
- Previous experience in technology sales or retail sales is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for diverse customer interactions
- Demonstrated ability to conduct product demos effectively and explain technical features clearly
- Basic math skills for handling transactions, cash handling, and inventory counts
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and record keeping
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality service
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and sales techniques such as upselling
- Customer service orientation with friendly phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Multilingual capabilities are advantageous for engaging a diverse clientele
- Familiarity with retail merchandising standards, technical sales processes, and organizational skills
