Overview:

W.O. Stinson & Son Ltd. is a family business specializing in gas stations, fuel distribution, motor oil and lubricant distribution, and HVAC services. We are committed to reliable service, strong customer relationships, and a supportive team environment We seek a reliable, hard-working, trustworthy Accounts Payable clerk to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent in-person position, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Process and verify a high volume of invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all account’s payable transactions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Utilize accounting software to manage accounts payable tasks efficiently.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information as required.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors through effective communication and problem resolution.

Experience:

- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk.
- Previous experience in a fast paced,



high-volume organization.
- Experience with the software “Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central".
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
