About Lisplogics

Lisplogics is a Montreal-based company that builds real-time optimization systems for business operations. We use operations research to help organizations plan and manage their operations as they happen. Our systems run in production and are used daily by our clients.

The role

We are looking for a backend developer with at least 5 years of experience. You will build the systems that connect our optimization models to our clients’ operations. You will also work directly with clients and, over time, lead projects from start to finish.

What you will do

- Design, build and maintain backend services in Go, C++ and Python
- Integrate optimization engines with client systems and real-time data
- Meet with clients to understand their operations and turn their needs into technical requirements
- Lead projects from scoping through deployment and follow-up
- Improve the performance and reliability of systems in production

What we are looking for





- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Experience with Go, C++ and/or Python
- Interest in working closely with clients and taking the lead on projects
- Based in Montreal
- Fluent in French

Nice to have

- A degree in mathematics or experiences in a quantitative field
- Experience with operations research, optimization or real-time systems
- Background in transportation, logistics or operations management

Work arrangement The position is remote to start. We may move to a hybrid model in early 2027, details to be confirmed. Candidates must live in the Montreal area.
