The Business Analyst will elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of eHealth-related projects or service requests. Work will include interviewing stakeholders, and gathering and compiling user requirements to convey to the eHealth Office and other applicable stakeholders.

The Business

Analyst will also apply proven communication, analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills to help support the delivery of projects and solutions/processes, and to ensure that project or service request deliverables are met according to requirements.

- College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, or information systems and 5+ years related work experience.
- Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
- Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Demonstrated project management skills and project management software skills,



including Microsoft Project - PMP an asset
- Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft Windows
- Working knowledge of current information technology trends, protocols, and standards
- Working knowledge of ITIL and service management process improvement

Knowledge of security best practices an asset
- Experience in a Health Care environment preferred
- Able to exercise independent judgement and take action on it.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
- Highly self motivated and directed.
