Countertop Installer Nova Tile and Marble Limited Salary: $23.00 to $26.00/Hourly Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Language: English Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible Minimum Education: High School Positions Available: 1 Job Location(s) 92 Thornhill Dr Dartmouth, NS B3B 1S3, Canada Duties: •Review drawings, blueprints and work orders to determine countertop dimensions, layout and installation procedures. •Measure and mark guidelines on supporting surfaces to ensure accurate countertop placement. •Measure, cut and prepare countertop sections according to project specifications. •Install and secure granite, marble and other stone countertops in residential and commercial properties using hand and power tools. •Position, level and align countertops on cabinets and supporting structures to ensure proper fit. •Join countertop sections, align seams and finish edges as required. •Make adjustments to ensure countertops fit properly around walls,



cabinets and adjoining surfaces. •Inspect completed installations to ensure countertops are properly fitted, level and securely installed. •Operate and maintain hand and power tools and follow applicable workplace safety procedures.

Requirements: •A valid driver's licence may be required for travel to various job sites. •Ability to handle countertop materials safely and perform physically demanding work. •Ability to read measurements and follow installation instructions.

Experience: 7 months to 1 year of experience in countertop installation is required.
