About The Job

We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Supervisor (NOC 62010) to lead our front-end team at Fresh Market Foods. This is a great opportunity for a strong leader who enjoys a fast-paced retail environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. In this role, you will supervise cashiers, support daily operations, and help ensure a positive, efficient, and welcoming checkout experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer customer questions and ensure customers leave satisfied.
- Attending customers in person/over the phone and resolving customer complaints.
- Train and supervise cashiers.
- Co-ordinate and schedule the activities of the cashiers.
- Monitor cashier performance, ensure accuracy, and provide coaching and additional training asneeded.
- Support cashiers in resolving operational and service-related issues.
- Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise.
- Ensure front-end presentation standards are maintained, including cleanliness, signage, and displays.
- Authorize payments, voids, and merchandise returns as required.
- Make recommendations to management concerning staff and improvement of procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- High school diploma preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or retail environment is required.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in retail is an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.




- Ability to resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Language of Work: Proficiency in English required

- French is considered an asset.

Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Closing Date: October 31, 2026

Salary Range: $21.00 – $24.00 per/hour (depending on experience)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Transportation: Fresh Market Foods will cover a one-time round-trip travel cost for the successful candidate to our location and back to their permanent residence at the end of the work period. (This does not include the cost for a full trailer move (household goods, trailers, or large personal belongings etc.).

Housing: Below-market value employee housing may be available, subject to availability.
