Role Description The Full Time Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial recordkeeping and support accurate reporting for our clients. This on-site role includes maintaining general ledgers, posting journal entries, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and preparing financial statements for review. The Bookkeeper will work with various accounting software platforms to process invoices, track expenses, manage accounts payable and receivable, and assist with year-end preparation.

The role also involves communicating with clients when needed, answering questions about their financial records,



and collaborating with the internal team to ensure compliance with established procedures and timelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid bookkeeping skills, including maintaining general ledgers and managing day-to-day financial records.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and reviewing financial statements and supporting basic financial analysis.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and related digital tools used for data entry and reporting.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of finance principles and experience posting accurate journal entries.
- Diploma or degree in accounting or equivalent experience would be an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple client files and deadlines.
- Clear, professional communication skills and the ability to explain financial information in accessible language.
- Experience working with small businesses or entrepreneurs is an asset
- Canadian accounting practice knowledge is a must
