Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Server role based at Sultan Ahmet Turkish Cuisine in Mississauga, ON. The Server is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, answering questions about dishes, and making recommendations that reflect an understanding of Turkish cuisine. Daily tasks include taking orders accurately, coordinating with kitchen staff, serving food and beverages, and ensuring tables are set, cleaned, and reset efficiently.

The Server also processes payments, handles guest inquiries or concerns in a professional manner, and supports overall restaurant operations during service. A focus on hospitality, teamwork,



and consistent guest satisfaction is essential in this role.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and hospitality skills, with the ability to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all guests.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication and active listening.
- Experience in table service, order taking, and handling payment transactions in a restaurant or similar setting.
- Ability to learn and describe menu items, with an interest in Turkish or Mediterranean cuisine considered an asset.
- Reliable time management, attention to detail, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with standing, walking, and carrying trays or plates for extended periods, following safe work practices.
- Adaptable availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
- Previous serving experience is preferred; food safety or smart serve certification in Ontario is beneficial.
