RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

ENSURES CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

- Follow the standard checkout process to ensure fast checkout.
- Responsible for ensuring that respective till counts balance at the beginning and end of shift and ensures Till Log’s are completed daily.
- Ensures registers are not left unattended without logging off the register, turning off the register light and securing the register lane.
- Greets customers, conducts cash, debit, or credit transactions with customers and provides a receipt.
- Follow SOP regarding cash handling procedures.
- Completes any designated tasks/duties administered by management or Team Lead.
- Contribute to the overall prevention of store theft

WORKING CONDITIONS

- Floors around work area may become slippery during wet weather conditions




- May have to handle merchandise and work with tools with sharp edges
- Overtime as required.
- Lifting or moving up to 25lbs may be required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum two(2) year experience in a retail environment, construction industry experience is an asset.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
