We are looking for a dedicated, motivated, and hardworking individual to join our Companyâs Transportation Safety and Compliance team to promote high standards in Safety and Compliance in Trucking Industry in Canada & USA. Ensure compliance with US FMCSA/DOT and Canada national safety code regulations and requirements by province. Oversee the fleet and driver files to ensure compliance. Assisting claim management through insurance Assist with the driver hiring process to ensure drivers meet regulatory and company qualifications. Support automobile insurance renewals by providing the information Responsible for driver Hours of Service (HOS) from ELD logs and driver files and qualifications to ensure accuracy and compliance. Perform audits and/or monitoring to ensure policy and procedure compliance Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management and the customer.
Compliance Monitoring Date entry for Fleet maintenance records Report and schedule a follow-up with drivers on any violations, tickets, accidents, injuries, claims, and other incidents as they occur Work with other departments to improve driver retention and handle driver complaints Licensing of all Commercial Trucks and Trailers Ordering of US Transponders for Trucks and Assist with the Annual Renewal ~ Assist with recruiting department to ensure the quality of drivers being brought on. ~ CDL holder would be considered an asset ~ Create, Maintain and Update Truck Operating Authority Binders ~ Set up and Maintain Master Records of Trucks, Trailers, and Drivers through our TMS software ~ Assist with other Safety and Compliance functions as required Punjabi Second Languages Always an Asset Computer proficiency â Excellent computer knowledge â Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF, and PowerPoint Trucking Dispatch & other related Software's knowledge is a plus Available to work on some weekends if required Experience with other trucking companies is an asset. G License- Must have your own vehicle to travel to designated offices
