ENHANCED SUPPORT WORKER Temporary Part time Macdonald School The County of Hastings is currently accepting applications to fill vacancies for Temporary Part-time Enhanced Support Worker positions at the before and after school program at Sir John A. Macdonald School. Work collaboratively with team members, using professional judgement to support the children and Early Childhood Educators in a childcare program. Provide support to children with special needs to enable their participation in activities. Promote inclusive interaction of all children in activities and develop and communicate strategies to ensure successful inclusion. Maintain the confidentiality of all children and parents while reporting pertinent information to the program supervisor. Experience working with children including those with special needs. Knowledge of the resources,



services and support for children with special needs. Demonstrated knowledge of strategies to promote inclusive environments and curriculums in the child care environment Current immunizations are required. Clear Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector check are mandatory.
