About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented ACM Panel & Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating architectural metal cladding systems, custom sheet metal flashings, and precision ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) wall panel systems, as well as assisting with warehouse and inventory operations.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical hands-on skills, the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, experience operating CNC routers, press brakes, and sheet metal fabrication equipment, and the flexibility to adapt across both ACM panel fabrication and flashing shop workflows.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

- ACM & Sheet Metal Fabrication: Cut, route, groove, fold, notch, and assemble ACM panels, architectural metal panels, and custom sheet metal flashings according to project specifications and shop drawings.
- Adaptable Fabrication Support: Seamlessly transition between ACM panel production and custom sheet metal flashing fabrication based on project schedule demands.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate CNC panel routers, CNC press brakes, shears, rollers, corner notchers, and pneumatic/hand tools.
- Blueprint & Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret architectural shop drawings, cutting lists, CAD files, and technical specifications to produce precise components with minimal material waste.
- Sub-Assembly & Fitting: Install stiffeners, perimeter extrusions, clips, fasteners, rivets, and sealants as required for panel and flashing assembly.
- Quality Control: Perform precision measurements using calipers, tape measures, and protractors to ensure strict tolerances and high aesthetic/structural standards.
- Warehouse Management & Material Handling: Safely load, unload, stack,



and organize large sheet materials (aluminum, ACM, steel). Assist with receiving inventory, raw material storage, and staging finished goods for shipment or job site dispatch.
- Teamwork & Communication: Maintain clear communication with shop supervisors, project coordinators, and team members to meet production timelines and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 5–10+ years of hands-on experience in architectural sheet metal, ACM panel fabrication, or custom metal manufacturing.
- Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated proficiency with CNC panel routers (or routing/grooving ACM panel systems) and press brakes.
- Strong expertise in reading architectural/engineering shop drawings, CAD layouts, and fabrication cut lists.
- Solid understanding of metal bending allowances, k-factors, metal gauges, and layout development.
- Versatility in working across both architectural sheet metal flashing and ACM panel production.
- Physical Requirements & Certifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/maneuver large sheet materials for extended periods.
- Valid Forklift Certification is an asset.
- Red Seal / Journeyman Sheet Metal status is preferred, though exceptional practical experience will be strongly considered.
- Core Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong teamwork mentality and willingness to collaborate across various shop and warehouse duties.
- High attention to detail, precision, and problem-solving abilities.
- Location: living within commuting distance (Mission, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Maple Ridge, or surrounding areas) is preferred.
