Duties
- Diagnose appliance malfunctions using electrical and mechanical knowledge, including interpreting schematics and technical manuals
- Perform repairs on appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers with precision and efficiency
- Conduct routine maintenance of appliances to ensure proper operation
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience
- Maintain detailed service records, including parts used, repairs performed, and diagnostic findings for each job
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair procedures to ensure a secure working environment
Qualifications
- Proven electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical systems
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing household appliances
- Familiarity with appliance repair techniques, assembly processes, and troubleshooting methods
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals effectively
- Experience with assembly of appliances or related equipment is a plus
