Job Summary

Our body shop has proudly served the community from the same location since 1998. We're looking for a motivated Auto Body Apprentice who is looking to learn, develop their auto body skills, and grow with our team.

While previous experience is an asset, we are open to train those who are new to the industry.

This is a full-time salaried position working weekdays from Monday to Friday.

Duties

- Support the preparation of vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and surface cleaning
- Washing vehicles
- Help with heavy lifting tasks to move vehicle parts safely and efficiently
- Learn to identify collision damage and work under supervision to perform basic repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Support senior technicians in performing minor repairs and inspections to develop mechanical knowledge
- Use hand tools and power tools skillfully to assist in various auto body repair processes

Requirements

- Basic knowledge of hand tools,



power tools, and automotive repair processes
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting safely as part of daily tasks
- Robust attention to detail and a desire to learn new skills in auto body work
- Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of vehicle structures and components is a plus
- Prior mechanic or dealership experience is advantageous but not mandatory, training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and work effectively as part of a team
