Town Autobody is seeking an Autobody Helper to support our technicians and contribute to the daily operations of our repair facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the autobody industry, develop new skills, and work alongside experienced Red Seal technicians in a modern, professional shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist Autobody Technicians with vehicle repairs and preparation work

- Perform vehicle disassembly and reassembly under supervision

- Remove and install trim, moldings, lights, bumpers, and other vehicle components

- Prepare vehicles and panels for repair and refinishing, including sanding, masking, and cleaning

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

- Move vehicles in and out of the shop as required

- Clean and maintain shop equipment, tools, and work areas

- Assist with parts organization, inventory, and receiving deliveries

- Wash and detail vehicles before and after repairs

- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies

- Support team members with general shop duties as needed

Qualifications

- Previous autobody,



automotive, or shop experience is considered an asset but not required

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team

- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

- Reliable, punctual, and dependable

- Valid driver's license is preferred

- Interest in pursuing a career in the autobody industry is considered a strong asset
