Dunrobin Auto delivers full mechanical repair and maintenance services for all makes and models, supported by a trusted, community‑focused team. We are seeking an experienced automotive technician with 3–5 years of hands‑on industry experience who can confidently diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles in a busy, well‑equipped shop.
Responsibilities and daily tasks will be assigned based on your technical ability, proven experience, and familiarity with modern diagnostic and repair procedures.
Compensation will be discussed and determined based on experience and skill level.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards and safety protocols
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to execute repairs ranging from engine work to body assembly
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while managing parts replacement, assembly, and disassembly processes
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex automotive problems efficiently and effectively
- Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repair activities accurately
- Assist with vehicle inspections, routine maintenance tasks, and minor body repairs as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience and mechanical background with a strong understanding of automotive systems
- Skilled in welding, using power tools, hand tools, and assembly techniques for various repair tasks
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments safely
- Prior experience in automotive repair or maintenance roles with a focus on customer service excellence
- Knowledge of vehicle schematics, assembly processes, and diagnostic procedures is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning and teamwork
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour Expected hours: 42.5 per week
