Job Title: Bellman / Bellhop

Department: Front Office / Guest Services

Reports To: Front Office Manager / Concierge

Position Summary:

The Bellman is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by assisting with luggage handling, transportation, and information requests. The Bellman creates a warm and welcoming arrival and departure experience, ensuring that all guests feel valued and cared for throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests upon arrival and departure with courtesy and professionalism.
- Assist guests with luggage—loading, unloading, and delivering to rooms promptly and carefully.
- Escort guests to their rooms, explain hotel features, amenities, and emergency procedures.
- Provide directions, transportation arrangements, and general information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
- Handle guest requests efficiently, ensuring satisfaction and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bell desk, lobby area, and luggage storage room.
- Tag, store, and retrieve guest luggage and other belongings when necessary.




- Coordinate with the front desk and concierge to support guest arrivals and departures.
- Deliver packages, messages, and amenities to guest rooms as assigned.
- Report any lost or damaged items and assist in the hotel’s lost and found procedures.
- Uphold hotel safety and security policies at all times.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or a customer-facing role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy luggage (up to 50 lbs).
- Qualified appearance and positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour
