Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bobcat Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating compact excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment to assist in various construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure efficient site development, material handling, and groundwork preparation.

Responsibilities

- Operate Bobcat skid-steer loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, backhoes, and other heavy machinery with precision and safety.
- Perform Backfill, site preparation tasks such as grading, leveling, trenching, and material movement to support construction activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Assist with paving operations and horizontal drilling tasks as needed to facilitate infrastructure development.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work setting to prevent accidents or injuries on-site.




- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of equipment operation hours, maintenance needs, and site activities.

Skills

- Proven experience operating Bobcat skid-steer loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, backhoes, and loaders in a construction setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues quickly.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment brands such as Caterpillar and other leading manufacturers.
- Ability to perform precise grading, paving, and horizontal drilling tasks.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment between sites.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy machinery operation and construction sites.
- Basic understanding of construction processes including site layout and groundwork preparation.
