Building Maintenance Superintendent

Doric Management is a family-run property management company seeking a committed, responsible, and hands-on Maintenance Superintendent or Superintendent Couple to join our small but dedicated team.

Total compensation package worth up to $80,000, including accommodations and benefits, after a three month training period.

The ideal candidate(s) will take pride in maintaining a property, enjoy hands-on work and problem-solving, and have the practical skills to tackle a wide range of minor repairs and maintenance tasks. This position is ideal for an individual or couple who are looking for a long-term position - most of our employees have been with us for over ten years.

The successful applicants will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and upkeep of a 60-unit apartment building in Clayton Park, as well as completing minor maintenance and repair work across our portfolio of residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs

- Complete routine maintenance and minor repairs throughout the buildings and individual units
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, such as replacing faucets, toilet components, drains and other fixtures
- Complete minor carpentry and drywall repairs, including patching, painting, caulking and trim repairs
- Replace light fixtures, switches, hardware and other basic building components as required




- Identify issues requiring specialized trades and coordinate with contractors when necessary
- Maintain tools, supplies and maintenance areas in an organized manner

General Responsibilities

- Respond promptly and professionally to tenant maintenance requests and concerns
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of common areas, including lobbies, hallways and laundry rooms for a 60 unit building
- Maintain clean and organized recycling and waste facilities
- Assist with unit inspections and move-ins/move-outs
- Assist with light snow removal and seasonal property maintenance
- Use personal vehicle for supply pickup and transport as needed
