Mid-Island Cabinets Ltd. is a well-established custom cabinetry and millwork company serving Vancouver Island. We are looking for an experienced, reliable Cabinet Service Technician to join our team in Parksville.This position is primarily focused on service, warranty, and adjustment work for completed cabinetry projects, with occasional involvement in new project installations.

What You’ll Do

- Attend customer and job sites to complete cabinet service and warranty work
- Diagnose and resolve issues with cabinetry, doors, drawers, hardware, and millwork
- Make adjustments, repairs, and modifications to existing installations
- Install and adjust cabinet hardware, hinges, drawer slides, and accessories
- Complete touch-ups and minor finishing-related repairs
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and project teams
- Identify issues and provide feedback to the office and production team
- Occasionally assist with or complete full cabinet installations on residential and commercial projects
- Safely load, transport, and handle cabinetry and materials as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area

What We’re Looking For

- Previous experience in cabinet installation, cabinetmaking, millwork, or finish carpentry
- Strong understanding of cabinetry construction and installation
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions




- Comfortable working independently and managing service calls
- Professional and courteous when dealing with customers
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to lift and handle cabinetry and materials
- Experience with custom cabinetry is an asset
