When Canada legalized cannabis, we saw an opportunity to do things differently. While much of the industry focused on flashy packaging, complicated marketing, and corporate experiences, we wanted to get back to what actually matters: great cannabis, honest advice, fair prices, and genuine relationships.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences

- Build genuine, lasting relationships with customers through honest recommendations, meaningful conversations, and exceptional service.
- Educate customers about cannabis products, including strains, cannabinoids, terpenes, consumption methods, and product characteristics.
- Help customers navigate our extensive selection and confidently choose products suited to their preferences and experience levels.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and judgment-free environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

Being a Cannabis Expert

- Stay informed about cannabis products, industry developments, and emerging trends.
- Share your knowledge and enthusiasm with customers and fellow team members.
- Continuously develop your understanding of cannabis through independent learning and ongoing education.
- Use your product knowledge to offer thoughtful, personalized recommendations rather than generic sales pitches.

Keeping the Store Running Smoothly

- Process transactions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Assist with inventory management, merchandising, product organization,



and general store operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.
- Follow all applicable cannabis regulations, company policies, and compliance procedures.
- Collaborate with your team to maintain exceptional operational standards.

Requirements

- Strong cannabis knowledge and the ability to confidently discuss a wide range of cannabis products.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, high-volume retail environment.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and personal accountability.
- Ability to perform the essential duties of a retail position,



including working on the sales floor for extended periods, with reasonable accommodations where required.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for occasional inventory transfers between store locations.
- Must meet Ontario's minimum age requirement for cannabis retail employment.
- Must obtain CannSell certification before beginning work.
- Successful completion of any required background screening, in accordance with applicable laws.

Considered Strong Assets:

- Previous experience in cannabis retail or the broader cannabis industry.
- Extensive personal knowledge of cannabis products, genetics, cultivators, and consumption methods.
- Familiarity with the Canadian cannabis market, including both pre- and post-legalization industry experience.
- Previous experience in a high-volume retail or customer service environment.
