What You’ll Do General Labor & Restoration Support

- Assist carpenters and skilled tradespeople with residential and commercial restoration projects.
- Load, unload, move, and organize tools, equipment, and materials safely.
- Measure, cut, and handle lumber and other construction materials under supervision.
- Support insulation and vapor barrier installation.
- Inspect work areas and report any damage, hazards, or material issues to your supervisor.

Demolition & Site Maintenance
- Remove damaged wood, drywall, flooring, trim, and other building materials caused by water, fire, storms, or general deterioration.
- Assist with demolition, site cleanup, and preparation of work areas.
- Protect furniture, floors, and unaffected areas from dust and damage during restoration work.
- Maintain a clean and protected worksite, ensuring proper disposal of construction debris.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely while following all health and safety procedures, including proper PPE usage.

Carpentry, Framing & Finishing Work
- Assisting with finishing work and fine details, from rough carpentry to trim.
- Supporting framing work and other tasks as needed.




- Support repairs to wooden structures of all kinds.
- Help install doors, trim, moldings, baseboards, and hardware.
- Assist with drywall repairs, mudding, sanding, taping, finishing, and overall drywall installation.
- Assist with flooring installation and repairs.
- Help with cabinetry removal, repair, and reinstallation.
- Assist with ceiling installation, knockdown, and texturing.
- Help with brush and roller painting for walls, ceilings, and trim.

- Experience and desire to do physical work
- Understanding and experience using hand and power tools
- Experience with in-home renovations/repairs
- Curious nature, always wanting to know how things happen
- Strong people, teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail, ability to follow directions
- Tech-savvy (comfortable using apps/software)
- A safety mindset
- Valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record (we do check)
- English proficiency, written and spoken

- Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after hours on-call work is a requirement. Meaning you’ll work regular weekday hours and participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule.

- Are you able to work a Rotating On-Call Schedule (responding to emergency calls after hours)? This is additional to scheduled day time hours. Overtime is paid.
- Restoration work can be dirty. Flooded basements and sewer backups are the norm. Are you able and willing to work in these conditions and use the proper PPE provided to you?
