Nature of position: Casual Support Worker

Shift schedule: Casual Availability Requirement: The successful applicant must be available to work Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., based on operational needs.

Responsibilities: Under the direction of the supervisor and/or manager, the support worker assists, teaches and supports individuals in volunteerism, employment, recreation, leisure and life skills in residential and community settings. The successful applicant will ensure quality services, adapt to meet the specific service requests and perform duties specific to the assigned location. We are looking for an individual who is adaptable, creative,



and able to respond effectively to changing situations.

Someone who enjoys being outgoing, creative, and flexible to changing situations. You will help facilitate problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications (must have or be willing to obtain): Valid CPR / First Aid Certificate, TB test, Hepatitis B Vaccine, Physician’s Declaration of good physical and mental health (as required)* , Food Safe, Valid BC class 5 driver’s license (Class 4 preferred), Drivers Abstract, Business Class car Insurance, Daily use of a vehicle, Satisfactory criminal records check.

- Transfers and lifts may be a requirement of the position
