Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Design and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth for children.
- Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support individual needs and progress.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and daily activities using computer systems.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum enhancements aligned with early childhood education standards.




- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently, including scheduling, transitions, and behavior management strategies.

Experience

- Prior experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special educational needs is advantageous.
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are a plus for supporting diverse communities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members.
- Proficiency in computer operation for documentation, lesson planning, and communication purposes.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain safety standards.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities while fostering teamwork among staff members.
