- Minimum 19 years of age
- Be legally able to work in Canada
- Current First Aid Certification and Criminal Records Check (or willing to obtain)
- Successful experience working with school-age children in a group environment
- Flexible and eager to learn new ideas and skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient to work in a high-energy, socially dynamic, and creative environment
Hours: Between 4 - 30 hours per week Wages: $27.85 per hour plus 8.5% Vacation & STAT pay + $6.00/HR for qualified ECE's
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. / 2:00/2:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (minimum 2 morning & 3 afternoons per week availability required), additional availability on school closure days (7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) an asset.
Position Start Date: This position begins as on-call, then progresses to consistent shifts.

- Provide a safe and healthy setting for all children.
- Provide positive guidance for children according to JKC guidelines.
- Build strong relationships with children and families in the program.
- Facilitate positive and engaging daily activities and experiences inspired by the interests of children in the program.
- Encourage children to expand their skills, knowledge, and independence as a member of their school community.
