We are looking for dependable subcontracting partners who take pride in their work, maintain high cleaning standards, and deliver consistent, quality service. Both individual subcontractors and established cleaning businesses are welcome to apply.

Cleaning subcontractors must meet M&W; Commercial Cleaning Services insurance, business registration, and background screening requirements before commencing work.

Responsibilities

- Perform cleaning services according to assigned project specifications and client expectations.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, quality, and attention to detail.
- Complete assigned jobs within agreed schedules and deadlines.
- Follow applicable health, safety, and site-specific requirements.
- Properly use and handle cleaning products and equipment.
- Supply labour, cleaning supplies, and equipment as agreed for each project.
- Communicate professionally with MW management and clients as required.
- Report damages, safety concerns, and maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working at client locations.

Mandatory Requirements All subcontractors must provide the following documentation, as applicable, before starting work:
- WCB Coverage: Valid Workers' Compensation Board (WCB Alberta) coverage or applicable clearance documentation.
- Commercial General Liability Insurance: Valid liability insurance with proof of coverage.
- Bonding Insurance: Valid bonding coverage where required by MW or the client.
- Criminal Background Check: A satisfactory criminal background check that meets MW's and the client's requirements.
- Business Registration: Valid business registration and applicable business documentation.

Applicants must also demonstrate reliability, professionalism,



and the ability to meet the cleaning requirements of assigned projects.

Qualifications

- Previous professional cleaning experience is preferred.
- Experience in commercial, residential, janitorial, or specialized cleaning is an asset.
- Ability to work independently or manage a cleaning team.
- Reliable transportation to assigned job sites, as required.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and client instructions.
- Good communication and time-management skills.

Compensation and Contract Terms Subcontract rates are negotiable and depend on the type of cleaning, project size, frequency of service, and scope of work.

Payment terms, responsibilities for cleaning supplies and equipment, and other project requirements will be agreed upon before work begins.
