This is a full-time position for an experienced veterinary receptionist (CSR).
Position Details
- Wage: $20 to $22 per hour, based on experience
- Start date: as soon as possible
- Schedule: 4 day work weeks, some evenings expected.
What You Will Do
- Greet clients and their pets warmly and check them in and out
- Answer phones, emails and online requests, and book appointments
- Process payments, invoices and estimates
- Keep client and patient records accurate and up to date
- Help keep the reception area clean, organized and welcoming
- Assist in handling animals safely and compassionately
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and equipment
What We Are Looking For
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organization and the ability to multitask in a busy setting
- Comfort with computers and practice management software
- A compassionate, positive attitude and a love of animals
- Previous veterinary or reception experience is a strong asset
