Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs to produce precision parts and components. Responsibilities

- Develop and write CNC programs for milling machines and lathes using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as SolidWorks and other CAD tools.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Set up CNC machines, including loading tools, calibrating equipment, and verifying machine parameters.
- Operate CNC lathe and milling machines, ensuring precision machining according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to inspect parts for accuracy and quality control.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize machining processes, improve cycle times, and reduce waste through lean manufacturing principles.
- Read and interpret technical documents,



including blueprints and technical manuals, to ensure proper execution of machining tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of programs, machine setups, inspections, and production data for continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience

- Proven experience in CNC programming for both milling machines and CNC lathes using Fanuc or Mazatrol controls.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift trucks.
- Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar design tools; experience with CAD drafting is a plus.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;), and basic math skills necessary for precise measurements.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with an emphasis on machining processes, assembly, and quality control standards.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety standards at all times.
