We are seeking energetic and dependable Company Drivers to operate 5-ton trucks, delivering freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. Responsibilities

- Safely operate 5-ton trucks to transport freight to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and fluid levels
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests, delivery logs, and inspection reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to coordinate pickups and deliveries




- Assist with basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to ensure vehicle readiness
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of operation to prevent accidents or damage

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, especially operating 5-ton trucks or similar heavy vehicles
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety standards for heavy equipment operation
- Ability to operate forklifts and other loading/unloading machinery (certification preferred)
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor mechanical issues
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks associated with freight handling
