Join our agile construction team as a Concrete Finisher and play a vital role in transforming blueprints into durable, high-quality concrete surfaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial buildings to renovation sites, utilizing your expertise in concrete finishing and related skills. As a Concrete Finisher, you'll be at the forefront of creating smooth, level, and structurally sound concrete surfaces that stand the test of time.

Your hands-on approach and attention to detail will contribute directly to the success of each project, ensuring client satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities

- Prepare concrete surfaces by leveling, smoothing, and finishing freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute precise concrete forms and placements.
- Install rebar reinforcement and assist with form setting to ensure structural integrity before pouring concrete.
- Operate heavy equipment such as mixers, skid steers, or cranes to facilitate efficient material handling and placement.
- Perform masonry tasks including restoration work, drywall installation, caulking, and flooring installation as needed on renovation projects.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain tools for optimal performance.




- Follow safety protocols diligently during heavy lifting, welding operations, and when working at heights or in confined spaces.
- Assist with schematics reading for complex projects involving concrete forming and structural modifications.
- Support team efforts in demolition, restoration, or renovation activities that require concrete finishing expertise.

Qualifications

- Proven construction experience with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in rebar installation, form setting, drywall work, caulking, welding, and flooring installation.
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques as well as restoration and renovation processes.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours working outdoors or in challenging environments.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety practices on site.
