We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Counter Salesman/woman to join our dynamic retail team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers while assisting them with product selection, demonstrations, and sales transactions. Your enthusiasm and technical knowledge will help drive sales growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and promote our diverse range of products.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the products they need, offering knowledgeable recommendations and product demos when appropriate
- Handle all sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and receipt issuance
- Upsell complementary products and services to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer needs are met
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customer attention and promote featured products
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Manage inventory levels on the sales floor,
restocking items as needed and conducting basic stock checks
- Demonstrate strong communication skills by effectively engaging with diverse customers in multiple languages if applicable, ensuring clarity and understanding throughout the sales process
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or technical sales is highly preferred; familiarity with product demos and merchandising is a plus
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening, to build rapport with customers
- Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory management
- Excellent organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as restocking displays or moving merchandise
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and professional appearance
