Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Duties

- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required
- Manage patient records using software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining treatment plans and procedures to patients
- Maintain sterilization of instruments and cleanliness of the treatment area
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently
- Support orthodontic procedures as needed, including working with CAD technology
- Assist with pediatric dental care, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients




- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with both patients and staff

Experience

- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with knowledge of orthodontics being a plus
- Familiarity with dental software systems
- Experience in pediatrics or as a dental receptionist is beneficial
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and team members
