Ortho experience 12month+ is a must (as a provider itself to change wires, power chain , O ties, brackets bonding and molar tube bonding)
late evening and weekend availability is preferred long term commitment preferred
- Greet /Take care/ see off all my patients with smiling face at all times, from the time they enter office and till the time they leave the office.
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting, Notes writing and record patient information
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order current supplies as needed
If found to be a perfect team player, may need to rotate in different offices with the Principal Dentist in 3 GTA Brampton , mississauga offices 5-6 days per week.
Skills
- Proficiency in general dentistry, including knowledge of braces and aligners
- Good communication skills for patient phone calls and recalls
- Familiarity with medical terminology used in dentistry
- Knowledge of Tracker/Abeldent for patient management and record keeping
- Ability to perform dental receptionist duties, such as answering phone calls,
scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance information
- Experience working with pediatric patients in a dental setting
- Strong dental assisting skills, including chairside assistance, taking impressions, and fabricating temporary crowns
- digital intra oral scanner (Itero), Invisalign trained- training can be provided if needed
Candidates with dental background is an asset. Pay is hourly- depending on education and experience starting at $22.00/hr, and bonuses on top expected to start 3-4 days a week. If you're found to be a perfect Team Player more days can be added.
