Duties

- Decorate desserts with precision using cake decorating techniques to ensure visual appeal
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation procedures at all times
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, assembling, and packaging desserts for display or takeout
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations, in compliance with food safety regulations
- Provide friendly and attentive customer service by answering questions about desserts and assisting with selections
- Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently and maintaining a positive attitude
Skills
- Experience in cake decorating or baking is highly desirable to create visually stunning desserts
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience helps in understanding food safety protocols and fast-paced service environments
- Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of cooking techniques relevant to dessert making
- Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with guests and enhance their experience
