Duties

- Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
- Keep dishwashing stations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies for smooth kitchen operations.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic chopping or plating support under supervision.
- Support the kitchen team by clearing tables and assisting with waste disposal to maintain a tidy workspace.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, cleaning chemicals, and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with cooks and servers to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes and utensils during busy service hours.




- Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food handling practices.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
