Join our dynamic kitchen team as a Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our culinary operations running smoothly! In this vital role, you’ll be the backbone of our food service environment, ensuring that dishes are spotless, kitchen areas are sanitized, and food preparation stations are organized. Your proactive approach will contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen that delights our guests and supports our talented culinary staff.

This paid position offers an exciting prospect to gain hands-on experience in the food industry while working in a lively, fast-paced workplace.

Base hourly pay also comes with a kitchen tip out averaging $5/ hr. Uniform is also provided as well as a free staff meal per shift.

Duties

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients under supervision.
- Support the kitchen team by organizing supplies, restocking stations, and ensuring all areas are tidy and hygienic.
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling efforts to maintain an environmentally friendly workspace.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth meal service during busy hours.
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a strong work ethic to contribute to a welcoming kitchen atmosphere.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued!
- Basic understanding of food handling safety practices and hygiene standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending comfortably.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques or meal preparation is a plus but not essential; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this lively environment.

Pay: $18.25-$18.35 per hour

Expected hours: 21.0 – 32.0 per week
