Contracting company in the Huntsville area is seeking a supervisor for a dock building crew. Duties would include mostly working on steel frame docks, some machine repair, custom fabrication and some structural steel work in building projects as well as supervising a small crew. Welding knowledge and skills are preferable, but training and upgrading would be available if the applicant has experience.
There will be inside and outside work, and much of it will be around water. The applicants should also have a basic knowledge of building construction and be able to read blueprints and use these to layout dock and boathouse structures., organize materials and staff and work as a team. Ability to operate heavy machinery is a plus.
Need to be a self-starter with an ability to think on the fly. Wages based on experience. Monday to Friday full time work.
