Duties

- Collaborate with clients and event planners to understand their vision, theme, and specific decor needs
- Design and create decorative elements that align with the event’s theme, including floral arrangements, backdrops, table settings, lighting accents, and other visual enhancements
- Source and select appropriate materials, decor items, and accessories within budget constraints
- Set up and arrange decorations on-site prior to the event, ensuring all elements are securely installed and aesthetically pleasing
- Coordinate with vendors and venue staff to ensure timely delivery and proper installation of decor components
- Maintain organization of decor inventory, manage budgets effectively, and track expenses throughout the planning process




- Provide excellent guest services by assisting attendees with decor-related inquiries or special requests during events

Experience

- Proven experience in event decoration, hospitality, or related fields such as restaurant or hotel environments
- Robust background in marketing or guest services is a plus for understanding client needs and enhancing guest experiences
- Demonstrated skills in upselling and negotiation to maximize event value while staying within budget
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, and team members effectively
- Exceptional time management abilities to meet tight deadlines and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Organizational skills essential for managing decor inventory, budgets, and event timelines
- Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is advantageous for understanding service standards and customer expectations
