Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Evening Production Manager to lead our afternoon and evening prep team of 8. Your team gets our Vancouver (YVR) deliveries out the door each afternoon and sets up the next morning's bake-offs, sandwich prep and bread baking. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a culinary background who loves logistics: getting the right product, in the right quantity, to the right place, on time, every day.

What you'll do

Lead the team

- Supervise, schedule and coach a prep team of 8
- Hire, train and onboard new team members
- Set the pace and tone on the floor: clear priorities, steady hands.

Run PM logistics
- Plan and coordinate daily YVR delivery orders: picking, packing, labelling and loading
- Make sure every order is complete, accurate and ready for driver departure times
- Work with drivers, store managers and the AM team to solve shortages or changes fast

Set up tomorrow's bake
- Prepare AM bake-offs so the morning team can start baking on time
- Oversee sandwich prep and bread baking to recipe and quality standards




- Use daily production numbers to plan prep and keep waste low

Keep the kitchen running
- Manage inventory, ordering and stock rotation (FIFO)
- Uphold food safety, sanitation and allergen procedures
- Keep equipment, cleaning schedules and closing checklists on track
- Report on output, waste and labour to management

What you bring

- A culinary background: culinary school, Red Seal, or equivalent experience in a professional kitchen or bakery
- 5+ years leading a kitchen, bakery or production team
- A logistics mindset: you're organized, think ahead and can manage multiple orders against fixed deadlines
- FOODSAFE Level 1 (Level 2 is an asset)
- Comfort with inventory systems, order sheets and basic spreadsheets
- Calm, clear communication under pressure
- Availability for afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends
